Are there online jobs or work at home jobs? If so, how can I find out about them?
Hi John!
Employment Networks can help you find a variety of different types of jobs, including those where you work from home. For example, many National ENs will work with you over the phone and specialize in work at home opportunities. Use the Find Help tool to get started or call our Help Line to talk to a person who can discuss your personal situation at 1-866-968-7842/866-833-2967(TTY/TDD), M - F 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST.
I have been receiving SSDI benefits since 2009. I went to work in 2010 and exhausted my 9 month trial work period. Then I lost my job in 2011 because of my disability. I want to work again and the representatives at Social Security said I can use my ticket to work and have 9 MORE months before my benefits are affected. Is this true? And if its not and I lose this job will I be able to restart my benefits again?
I tried going back to college and had a major break down in 2011 so had to quit. I now have loans to pay back and no way to afford them. I would like to open a home based business. It would be home services largly focusing on pet care while owners are on vacation. I also would offer care for children and the elderly, light housekeeping and meal prepararation. Can any one help me with my loans and starting a business?

I've been on ssi since 2007. I have a lower back issue. Before it became too hard to perform as an A/C refrigeration tech I really enjoyed working though I lived in pain most of the time. Here is my question: I have a great driving record and would like to enter some type of commercial driving training program. I have talked with truck drivers and most of them have the same back issue. If I can receive free training I believe I can find full time employment. I live in Kern County Ca. Is there a place that I might receive some type of help in this issue? I thank you in advance.

I became disabled in 2011. I want to work but am nervous to start again because I was fired when my disabilities interfered with my job duties. I don't want to fail again. I have been able to perform a very part time job at $8.00/hr without any concerns. My husband is very nervous that by working more I will lose the benefits that I have gained and we will be worse off than when we started. I really think I should be working but am scared and nervous.

I am disabled from my previous occupation and my disability will no longer allow my to return to it. If i were to choose to go back to college for re traing would that qualify for ticket to work with an eventual goal to earn a substantial living after graduation. Are there resources to help cover cost of the education or using state and federal financial aid?
thanks
