Have you ever thought about working for the government?
The number of employees with disabilities working in the federal government is the highest it has been in more than 30 years, and this number continues to increase.
One option for federal employment for people with disabilities is through a program called the Schedule A Hiring Authority, or simply Schedule A. Schedule A is an opportunity, not a guarantee of employment. When applying for a job through Schedule A, a person's application and resume must demonstrate their ability to do the job they're applying for.
