Throughout the month of October, career fairs will take place nationwide. Career fairs are great places to meet with employers and recruiters who can tell you about their latest job openings. Attend a career fair this month and advance your job search!

San Diego Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities (In-Person)

The San Diego Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities is hosting 'Jobtoberfest', an Annual Job Fair for People with Disabilities, held in October during National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Interpreters for the deaf will be provided.

Workforce Boulder County (In-Person)
Workforce Boulder County is hosting a job fair for veterans and people with disabilities.

AbilityLinks (Virtual)

AbilityLinks is a nationwide, web-based community where qualified job seekers with disabilities and inclusive employers meet and gain access to valuable networking opportunities. Job seekers who want to connect to employers by voluntarily self-identifying having a disability use AbilityLinks to post resumes and apply for jobs. No information about disability type is asked. Federal contractors and equal opportunity employers seeking to identify qualified candidates with disabilities use AbilityLinks to post jobs and search resumes.

DC Metro BLN (Virtual)

The District of Columbia Metro Business Leadership Network will partner with colleges and universities career and disability services offices across the US to host their second  "Virtual Career Day" for talented students/grads and young professionals with disabilities. This unique virtual event brings together hiring managers and recruiters from the BLN leading member organizations with qualified job seekers looking for internships and career opportunities.

Center for Accessible Living (In-Person)

Celebrating October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Center for Accessible Living is hosting a diversity and disability career fair. People with disabilities, minorities and veterans are encouraged to attend.

Think Beyond the Label (Virtual)

This virtual career fair will connect qualified job seekers with disabilities to companies nationwide who are actively recruiting. Think Beyond the Label is a vast online community and partners with employment service agencies and student organizations to provide unique opportunities. This career fair allows for one-on-one interactions with recruiters, so that you can learn in real-time about the many job opportunities employers are providing.

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and California State University, Los Angeles (In-Person)

This event is a joint collaboration between the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and California State University, Los Angeles. If you are a veteran, or a person with a disability, you will have the opportunity to meet with federal contractors. This event will be a great way to get you in front of hiring officials for multiple companies and governmental agencies. There will be at least 50 agencies looking to hire qualified employees. This event is also open to students and the general public.
