November 13th marks the 9th annual World Usability Day which is also known as “Making Things Easier Day.” The day was created to celebrate advances in making usable products and educating people about how usability impacts our daily lives.
This year’s theme is Engagement and recognizes the different ways that technology, products and services can be used when people around the world engage with them.
In addition to encouraging users to demand more usable products and services, World Usability Day’s charter also asks employers to continue to make their technology, products and services more user-friendly for people with disabilities. Usability technology can help people fully participate in work and stay connected in their community.
There are currently 102 events scheduled in 35 countries on World Usability Day, including many across the country.
To find a local event, visit the Find an Event page on World Usability Day’s website.
