Have you gotten started on your work resolutions? We're following up on our 2018 Resolutions Checklist to share how you can learn more about the Ticket to Work program to find the supports and services you need.
In January, we encouraged you to make progress toward your work goals by following our Ticket to Work (Ticket) program checklist. Setting SMART goals and using that checklist can be a great way to make progress toward full-time employment.
Social Security's Ticket program supports career development for people ages 18 through 64 who receive Social Security disability benefits (SSI or SSDI) and want to work. The Ticket program is free and voluntary. It helps people with disabilities move toward financial independence and connects them with the services and support they need to succeed in the workforce.
This month, we'll focus on our first item:

You can also learn more about the Ticket program by checking out the Choose Work website. Resources, including Frequently Asked Questions, may help you find options that you may not have known were available. If you want to search for service providers on your own, the Find Help tool helps you filter by location, online and in-person services, and types of services offered. And the Choose Work! blog offers tips and resources to help you on your path to employment with advice on resume writing, interviewing and transitioning to the workplace.
Want to learn even more? Attending our monthly Work Incentives Seminar Event (WISE) webinars can help you with that! Each month, we discuss different employment topics to highlight the Ticket program and other helpful resources. Topics include choosing a service provider, learning about and financial independence, and exploring self-employment. Register for the next webinar today.
