Feb 1, 2018

Graphic of Ben with question mark bubbleIn January, we encouraged you to make progress toward your work goals by following our Ticket to Work (Ticket) program checklist. Setting SMART goals and using that checklist can be a great way to make progress toward full-time employment.

Social Security's Ticket program supports career development for people ages 18 through 64 who receive Social Security disability benefits (SSI or SSDI) and want to work. The Ticket program is free and voluntary. It helps people with disabilities move toward financial independence and connects them with the services and support they need to succeed in the workforce.

This month, we'll focus on our first item:

By calling the Help Line, you may be able to find:

And the Choose Work! blog offers tips and resources to help you on your path to employment with advice on resume writing, interviewing and transitioning to the workplace.
